Medical Admission Circular 2024 is now here. The MBBS Admission Circular 2023-24 is announced by the DGHS authority. The students those have passed HSC exam on 2023 can apply. Luckily, second timers can apply for this 2023-24 session. So lets know the requirements, admission test date, MBBS Admission Test Mark Distribution, admission process and online application method.

The admission process goes through a written exam and then viva exam. Local citizens as well as foreign students are offered to get admission in this MBBS Admission 2024 session. Medical Admission Circular 2024

The online application fee is 1000tk. You should pay the fee a soon as possible after you submit online application.

The Director General of Health Service is controlling the MBBS Admission. The Medical Admission Circular is published through www website. This year, total seat number is 4530. There are 37 public medical colleges in our country. The students who are in the merit list can get admission into these medical colleges. There is also private medical colleges in our country that offers MBBS admission for the students.

The first step is the online application. Then the candidates will download the admit card and take part in the admission test. Finally, after publishing the result of MBBS Admission test, the seat will be filled up.  You must be in the merit list to get a seat in any medical college.

Medical Second Timer Admission

It is possible to take part in the admission test as a second timer. There are many students who want to take part in the medical admission test as second timer. You should know a few things about this.

First of all, 05 marks will be cut from obtained number if you are a second-timer candidate. The Medical Admission Circular says, at the same time, 7.5 marks will be cut if you are admitted into any medical college earlier. So these students must get a very-good mark in the admission test.

Requirements for Medical Admission

You should take the requirements seriously. Because, if you do not meet the requirements then you cannot take part in the admission test. The requirements are:

  • Student has to pass HSC exam in 2023 or 2022
  • He has to pass SSC Exam in 2021 or 2020
  • Minimum GPA 9.00 is needed in both SSC and HSC exam
  • Individual GPA 3.50 is needed
  • GPA 4.00 is required in Biology subject in both SSC and HSC exam

MBBS Admission Test Mark Distribution

The Mark Distribution of Medical Admission test is important thing for the students. You must get knowledge about the mark distribution of the admission test. The mark distribution is described in the Medical Admission Circular. Taking part in the admission test without knowing about mark distribution will not work. You have to take preparation according to this mark distribution.

The admission test will be held for one hour. There will be total 100 marks for the exam. One candidate has to get minimum 40 marks to get passed in the admission test.

Medical Admission Apply

After announcing Medical Admission Test Circular, DGHS has started the online application system. Here is the Medical Admission Application process mentioned for you so that you can submit your online application easily.

  • First, visit the website or www
  • Click for New Admission
  • Enter your HSC and SSC Roll number in the empty box
  • Enter the required information
  • Upload your photo
  • Provide your mobile phone number
  • Select the Medical College preference
  • Preview the application and submit

Medical Admission Admit Card

The admit card will be released before the exam date. Each candidate has to download the admit card using User ID and password (you have got at the application time).

You should know that, the admission result is made for 300 marks. The admission test is for 100 marks. The rest of 200 marks come from the SSC and HSC GPA. The fact is ,SSC GPA x 15 = 75 and HSC GPA x 25 = 125 total 75+125=200. This is how the merit score made. The student who has GPA-5 in both SSC and HSC goes ahead in the merit score. But passing in the admission test is mandatory.
